That all depends on what fish comes over the rail when it’s your turn. The smallest legal-sized King (Chinook) Salmon is 8 pounds. The average fish is around 12 pounds; the largest fish we get is about #30. Anything bigger and you consider yourself lucky.
So expect to pay around $130 to $300 per whole fish. We only sell whole fish, as required by state law, which is great, as you can add nutrients to yourself and your garden. The entire salmon can be cooked and used; none should go to waste.
Ask about fillet and vacuum-sealing services that are available after the purchase of a whole fish. That’s for some silly legal reason. Salmon freezes very well, and all salmon should be frozen before eating raw for health reasons. Frozen, it can keep for around a year. Keep you and your family fed with the freshest, healthiest, fattiest salmon at a very affordable price of around 60-50% cheaper than retail.
